NCS physicians participate in a variety of clinical trials conducted by several cooperative groups, collaborating with others to provide the latest developments in cancer research to our patients.

Current clinical trials here at Northwest Cancer Specialists - Listed are current clinical trials available through the NCS Clinical Trials Team.  Most are US Oncology Clinical Trials, but this list is Specific to those offered at our local clinics.

US Oncology Clinical Trials U.S. Oncology offers the largest private cancer research program in the United States.

Columbia River Oncology Program (CROP) is a Community Clinical Oncology Program assisting local physicians, medical groups and hospitals with clinical trials in cancer prevention, treatment, and symptom control.

Gynecologic Oncology Group is the only group, which focuses its research on women with pelvic malignancies, such as cancer of the ovary, uterus, and cervix.

National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project a clinical trials cooperative group supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Radiation Therapy Oncology Group is a multi-institutional cooperative organization, which is comprised of 250 of the major research institutions nationally and in Canada.

Southwest Oncology Group one of the largest of the National Cancer Institute-supported cancer clinical trials cooperative groups in the United States.
